Full Job DescriptionUnicare Home Care, INC.Home Health Administrator, RN1. Supervises the entire organizational operation and directly supervises the Director of Nursing2. Plans, organizes, directs and evaluates operations to ensure the provision of adequate and appropriate care and services3. Complies with applicable laws and regulations4. Undertakes fiscal planning by budgeting and managing operations in accordance with established fiscal parameters5. Implements governing body directives and organizational policies and procedures, as well as the development and implementation of appropriate service policies6. Recruits, employs and retains qualified personnel to maintain appropriate staffing levels7. Establishes and maintains effective channels of communication8. Ensures staff development including orientation, in-service education, continuing education and evaluation of staff9. Assures that skilled nursing and other therapeutic services provided are under the supervision and direction of a physician or a Registered Nurse10. Assures appropriate staff supervision during all operating hours11. Assures the development and qualifications of professional services and the assignment of personnel12. Completes performance evaluations on subordinate staff in accordance with Agency policy13. Plans, develops, implements administers and evaluates program14. Appoints a similarly qualified alternate to be available at all times during operating hours in the absence of the Administrator15. Informs the governing body, staff and professional advisory group of current organizational, community, and industry trends16. Oversees the Performance Improvement program17. Serves as the agency's Disaster Coordinator18. Acts as corporate compliance officer and assumes responsibilities described in the agency corporate compliance plan19. Acts as the HIPAA Privacy Officer20. Performs other duties as assigned by the governing bodyQualifications: •Must be a Registered Nurse from an accredited institution•Must have a minimum of one (3) year supervisory or administrative experience in a home healthcare program•Computer literacy is a must•Competency in HHAexchange homecare software is a mustJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:
