Home Health Aid - Astrocare : Job Details

Astrocare Home Health is looking for a compassionate, caring and reliable individual to join our team as a Caregiver/Home Health Aid. The successful candidate help assist with the activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, personal hygiene, continence care, meal preparation, medication reminders, keeping the home safe and clean, as well as the overall supervision of the client's physical and mental well-being.Responsibilities:Empathize with the client.Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client.Engage in leisurely activities with the client.Conduct wellness checks.Provide proper nutrition and hydration to the client.Change dressings and assist with hygiene tasks.Assist with ADLs and preventative care.Must be able and willing to work within a variety of living conditions.License/Certification:Diploma or GED (Preferred)Valid drivers license, proof of insurance and reliable transportationCPR with BLS or willing to obtain for the jobExperience:Caregiving: 1 year plusJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $10.60 per hourExpected hours: 20 - 40 per weekBenefits:Health insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)License/Certification:CPR Certification (Preferred)Work Location: In person
