Home Health Aide, Certified Nurse Aide

Hours: Non -Exempt / Hourly | 40 hours per week

Schedule: 8am - 4:30pm with every other weekend obligations

Overview:

The Homecare Nurse Aide plays a critical role in assistingparticipants in a way that supports and maintains the health and function of the participant which is critical to supporting their desire to remain at home.

What you'll do:

* Providing Person care, light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and transportation as outlined it the life plan.

* Care support will be provided primarily in the home and on occasion at the day center.

* Assists with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting participants as needed, utilizing good body mechanics and safety precautions, including the appropriate/proper use of assistive devices and mechanical lifts.

* Observes participants for changes in emotional, behavioral, and physical condition. Assures the required documentation related to the participant's plan of care is accurate and complete per LifeCircles policies.

What it takes:

* Must possess a current, unencumbered, active certificate to practice as a Certified Nurse Aide in the State of Michigan.

* Must have reliable transportation and a current valid Michigan driver's license.

* CPR certification and updated immunization status is required or will be provided.

* Minimum of one year of experience working with the frail elderly, or long-term care population.
