Job Description
Supervised by nurses, the HHA / PCA assists in meeting the physical and emotional needs of residents. Maintain clear patient records, get to know each resident and often be the first to identify changes in their condition. A truly valuable member of the medical team.
Instruction and training are offered to ensure personal care meets the high-level expectations at Heathwood.
Experience and Skills:
Qualifications:
Eighteen (18) years of age required; high school diploma or equivalent preferred
Certification by an approved basic training program in home health aide services approved by the Department of Health and possess written evidence of such certification. Must maintain current annual skills testing approval.
