Home Health Aide (PRN) - Baptist Health : Job Details

Job Description:Baptist Health Home Care is looking for a PRN Home Health Aide to join our team in Louisville, KYIn this role, you will perform personal care and assists in the provision of comfort and safety of the patient. If patient is a Waiver patient, provides personal care, respite and homemaking duties.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssists patients with or provides personal hygiene care and activities of daily living.Performs simple procedures as an extension of therapy or nursing and reports in changes in the patient's condition.Understand Medicare, Waiver (where applicable), Joint Commission regulations and standards related to their scope of care.Participates in agency Performance Improvement activities.Qualifications:

• Current registration with the State of Kentucky as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• High school graduate or GED. Able to work a flexible schedule to meet patient care needs including weekends and holidays.
• Maturity and ability to deal with the demands of the job.
• Compassionate attitude towards the care of the patient. BCLS
