SUMMARY

STATUS: Full Time

LOCATION: Newark, NY 14513

DEPARTMENT: ElderONE

SCHEDULE: 8am-5pm Monday - Friday during training

ATTRIBUTES

• Preferred: 1-2 years of direct patient care experience
• Excellent communication skills; able to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to meet physical demands, including standing or walking for long periods and lifting weights up to 35 lbs.
• Strong computer skills required

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Program Participation: Engage actively in class readings, discussions, and coursework.
• Verified Skills: Competently perform activities outlined in the home health aide competency test.
• Demonstrate Knowledge: Achieve a score of 80% or higher on Home Health Aide quizzes and exams.
• Mandatory Attendance: Attend all required training classes and clinical orientations punctually.

Valid New York State Driver's License (NYS DL) required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Medium Work: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds of force constantly. Duties involve frequent walking, standing, or squatting.

PAY RANGE:

$17.60 per hour
