Job Description:
In support of SUNY Orange's workforce development strategy, the Workforce Solutions unit will support the creation of opportunities focused on providing high-impact solutions to local employers including strengthening their employee's skills and competencies through customized workforce development training and services. The Home Health Aide Program Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing the SUNY Orange Plus Home Health Aide program. This includes, but is not limited to: submission of all necessary documentation to NYSED for initial and continuous program approval for Home Health Aide training program; development of supervised clinical experiences by implementing clinical affiliation agreements with local home health aide agencies; creation and maintenance of facility space and equipment in accordance with NYSED regulations; development and implementation of home health aide curriculum in accordance with NYSED regulations; maintenance of program records in accordance with NYSED standards; completion of all auditing procedures including site visits using the site-visit evaluation tool provided by NYSED; hiring and oversight of additional healthcare instructors.
Requirements:
Education Required: Registered Professional Nurse (RN, Associate Degree or Higher)
Experience Required: Two years of RN experience, one of which must be in a licensed home care agency
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics:
* Prior experience coordinating home health aide programs

Salary: $45 per hour for no more than 20 hours per week, flexible schedule.
