CHANS Home Health & Hospice is full service non-profit, Joint Commission Accredited agency providing skilled home health, hospice, and an array of community-based wellness clinics and support services in Midcoast Maine.

Part of Mid Coast-Parkview Health, CHANS has been providing home health and wellness services in our community since 1947.

* Position Summary This position is per diem with variable hours.

* The Home Health Assistant role, under the direction of a licensed registered nurse, provides hands-on personal care to clients in their home, providing services which are needed to maintain the client's health or to facilitate treatment of the client's illness or injury.

* Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

* Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; Must be 18 years of age or older.

* License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.

* Experience: Prior home care experience preferred.
