We are currently seeking a dedicated Home Medical Equipment Specialist - Respiratory Care to become a vital part of our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Setting up and operating home medical equipment, including CPAP/BiPAP machines, ventilators, nebulizers, and oxygen concentrators.
- Educating and training patients on the proper use of their prescribed equipment.
- Inspecting and testing equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Reviewing prescriptions and patient information to assess conditions and determine appropriate treatment administration.
- Maintaining organized patient records in compliance with accreditation standards.
- Staying updated on the latest respiratory homecare techniques and therapy concepts.
- Being available for on-call duties after hours and on weekends as needed.

Requirements:
- Qualified candidates include CRTs, RRTs, RNs, LPNs, LVNs, paramedics, EMTs, and other healthcare professionals, subject to state regulations.
- Must maintain appropriate certification, registration, or licensing as required by state and/or national boards.
- A reliable personal vehicle is necessary for patient visits in your assigned area, with mileage reimbursement provided.
- A valid driver's license and auto insurance are required.
- Strong knowledge of pulmonary function and rehabilitation techniques is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is required.
Physical Demands:
This position requires frequent lifting/moving of up to 25 pounds and occasional lifting/moving of up to 50 pounds.
