Clayton County & Henry County, GeorgiaPOSITION SUMMARYResponsible for the development and execution of territory and account plans to maintain and grow hospice service admissions from referral partners within the Branch service area. Referral partners are community based and may include physician offices, senior living facilities, rehab facilities, skilled nursing facilities and some hospitals. Responsible for the referrals of approximately 50 physicians who will rotate on a bi-weekly call cycle. The specific facilities will be identified as well and added to the call cycle. The relationship is primarily held at the referral source, but patient and family assistance may be required. This could include explaining hospice to families and patients, working with the referral partner, Hospice Atlanta nursing team, and facility staff, and helping to complete paperwork. Ability to work in a team, adapt to strategic and evolving business plans, and critically analyze opportunities through territory knowledge and company tools are key to success in this position.MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTSEducation & Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Allied Health discipline (such as Physical Therapy), Health Administration or Business Administration strongly preferred.Previous Experience: Two years of successful experience in a healthcare sales environment with a proven track record of success is preferred. Hospice and/or home health work experience is preferred.Licensure/Certifications: Current Professional/Clinical Licensure in the State of Georgia preferred but not required. Valid & current driver's license required.Knowledge/Training: Knowledge of Atlanta health care market and particularly the home health and/ or hospice related sectors of the Atlanta health care market. Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid and third party payer entities. Knowledge of principles, practices and regulatory requirements of marketing home health and hospice care.Skills: Proven interpersonal skills and effective communication skills. Ability to gather, analyze and present complex clinical and statistical data. Strong sales, business development, decision making and communication skills. Ability to work independently and be self-motivated. Must have impeccable customer service skills and problem solving skills. Proficiency with standard business software (Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and using a laptop and mobile device is required.Transportation: Must have reliable transportation.
