We are caregivers in service to our clients, patients, families, and each other.Position Overview:The Hospice House Registered Nurse (RN) provides compassionate and comprehensive care to terminally ill patients and their families in a Hospice House setting. The RN, under the supervision of the Hospice House Clinical Nursing Supervisor, plays a vital role in identifying patient and family needs and coordinating services to deliver preventive and supportive care. The RN also oversees the work of Licensed Practical Nurses, Nursing Assistants, and volunteers in the Hospice House. Additionally, the RN demonstrates a commitment to the philosophy, goals, and objectives of hospice care by utilizing teaching, assessment, and intervention skills to enhance the quality of life for patients and families.Minimum Qualifications:1. Current, unrestricted, Washington State license as a professional registered nurse.2. At least two years of nursing experience, preferably with one-year acute care, home health, or hospice nursing.3. Availability for day, night, and weekend shifts as needed and as scheduled by the supervisor.4.
