This remote position is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned finance professional seeking to apply their expertise in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing hospital financial operations, implementing financial strategies, and maintaining excellent financial health. This role will require a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare industry, as well as strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.Responsibilities:As a Permanent Hospital Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our healthcare organization. Your primary duties will include:1. Directing and coordinating all hospital financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.2. Overseeing the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholders, tax returns, and reports for government regulatory agencies.3. Analyzing financial details to identify development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed.4. Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.5. Collaborating with hospital executives to develop financial strategies and make prudent decisions.6. Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.7. Reviewing audit reports and taking necessary actions to correct identified discrepancies.8. Managing relationships with external auditors and investigating their findings and recommendations.Qualifications:To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. CPA is required! 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role within a hospital or healthcare setting.3. Extensive knowledge of healthcare financial laws and regulations.4. Proven experience in auditing, budgeting, and financial planning.5. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.6. Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.7. Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.8. Proficiency in financial software and databases.9.
