Hospitalist MD/DO Rutherfordton, NC

• Number of beds: active beds ~ 50
• Closed or Open ICU: open ICU
• Shift times: 7a-7p & 7p-7a
• Procedures required: No procedures
• Backup specialties available: cardiology, nephrology, hematology/ oncology, pulmonology, urology, orthopedic surgery, general surgery -does endoscopy/ colonoscopy
• Census per shift: total census per provider during the day? 12-15
• Census per shift: total census covered at night? 25-35
• Who responds to codes: Both EM & HM physicians
• Number of admits per day/night: 2-4 admissions per day
• Number of admits per day/night: 4-6 admissions per night
