About the Hospitality Aide Position:
The Hospitality Aide role involves duties in compliance with state and federal regulations and policies. Employment in this position may lead to CNA training based on job performance, although direct patient care is not within the scope of the Hospitality Aide role.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Responds to signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine resident needs.
2. Distributes linens and makes beds.
3. Serves and collects food trays, acting as a tray monitor.
4. Passes fluids and nourishments to residents who do not require assistance.
5. Cleans utility rooms, storage areas, and resident rooms/closets/drawers.
6. Stocks supplies and empties soiled linen and incontinence barrels.
7. May be assigned to clean, disinfect, and store bedpans, bedside commodes, urinals, and other supplies under licensed nurse guidance, based on Hospitality Aide abilities.
8. Changes bed linens, runs errands, directs visitors, and answers telephones.
9. Other duties as assigned, appropriate to the position.
