The Hospitality Host will work directly with the winery's guests, providing exceptional service and best-in-class hospitality experiences. The host always communicates pleasant and professionally with guests while working in a team environment to support the winery's growth and reputation. The ideal candidate must be interested in wine, hospitality, and guest service. The host must be available to work weekends, holidays, and special events. The position includes base hourly compensation plus earned gratuity. - Present a friendly, positive, and knowledgeable concierge experience to all winery guests.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service, creating a fun, educational, and memorable experience for all winery guests.
- Ability to learn our brand history and be able to present it knowledgeably.
- Answer phone calls and emails for tasting reservations and guest service requests.
- Manage communications of reservations and general inquiries across all communication platforms with championed customer service.
- Provide quality customer service and verbal and written communications with clients before and after appointments.
- Support team with wine shipments, updating client profiles in our database, itinerary planning for our club members, and recommendations for guests.
- Maintain a welcoming tasting room. Includes washing and polishing stemware and stocking inventory.
- Maintain a clean and orderly tasting room environment.
- Support with winery projects from hospitality to administrative duties, as requested by the Manager.
- Ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
- Work as a team and support all peers and leaders.
- Work in a safe manner and report any health or safety concerns.

- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to acquire food and beverage safety training and certificate program - ServSafe (if required)
- Ability to acquire a Food Handler card (if required)
- Ability to acquire the (RBS) Responsible Beverage Service Certificate (if required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience and wine knowledge are desirable.
- Experience with computers with a POS system is desirable.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
- Stand for prolonged periods.
- Perform some repetitive motion activities.
- Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Lift, move, and stack boxes up to 50 lbs.
- Accurately complete detailed forms and reports.
- Interpret regulations, and/or policies.
- Understand and respond to a diverse population.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Work is normally performed in a tasting room/kitchen/hospitality environment.
- Work is mainly performed both in and out of doors.
- Noise levels are usually moderate but may be moderate to high at times.
- A percentage of work time may be spent in a wine warehouse and cellar where temperatures are cool and noise level is usually moderate.
- Floors may be wet and slippery; proper footwear is required.
