Chelsea Piers Fitness seeks an enthusiastic, motivated individual to work as part of our team.Role: As an integral member of the Chelsea Piers Fitness organization, the Hospitality Manager will work closely with the General Manager, the in-club managers and the multi-club management team to ensure that these lines of businesses are operating efficiently. In addition, Hospitality Manager will serve a critical role in hiring and training all associates on tasks and protocols and serving as the primary point of contact with members.The responsibilities and duties described here are representative of those the Hospitality Manager must perform. This is not a comprehensive list and other duties may be assigned.General ResponsibilitiesProvide high level customer service and hospitality to membersLead the Hospitality Team and ensure that they are operating at the Chelsea Piers Fitness standards of excellenceMaintain a positive attitude and take initiativeMaintain Chelsea Piers Fitness product and brand knowledgeUphold high-level visibility and engagement with club membersAct as the On-Site Merchandise CoordinatorOwn the Kids Clubhouse, including: recruiting, managing, scheduling and programmingHospitality Management ResponsibilitiesManage either the opening or closing of the entire fitness clubMonitor visitor access and maintain security awarenessAssist with Sales, Marketing, Personal Training and Group Fitness initiativesServe as a visible and active goodwill ambassador with prospective membersManage the Hospitality Team to ensure that they are delivering the highest standard of customer serviceManage the recruitment, onboarding, and coaching process for the Hospitality TeamFacilitate and lead Hospitality Associate cross training to ensure all team members understand hospitality and fitness concierge duties including renewing personal training packages and checking in classes.Maintain a high efficiency ranking on Medallia for Front Desk teamCoordinate staffing schedulesComplete bi-weekly payrollQualificationsQualifications:College BA or BS degree preferredMinimum 1-3 years of professional experienceSelf-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit who can run projects independently. Creative problem-solver and ability to flourish in a fast-paced work environmentHigh-energy, personable and passion for fitness with a team-first mentalitySelf-motivated/entrepreneurial spirit with an outgoing, diligent and affable dispositionStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenProficiency in Microsoft OfficeAbility to adapt to change and a willingness to improve and evolveMust be able to lift up to 30 to 45 pounds and stand at the front desk for the duration of a shiftUniform: All employees must wear their Chelsea Piers Fitness uniform and nametag at all times while working. In addition to your uniform, all employees are required to follow the rules/regulations in the employee handbook Work Schedule: Full-time, paid through bi-weekly payrollPre-set schedule.
