Qualified applicants must be able to meet and exceed the guest's expectations by opening the door for each and every guest. Other responsibilities of the hostess include monitoring the open dining sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables, estimating wait times for guests, monitoring the guest waiting list, and ensuring that the needs of the guests are met while they are waiting. The hostess is often responsible for answering the telephone, moving tables together to accommodate large parties and carding patrons. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Due to Health Care Reform, we must notify you this is a variable hour position. You will be subject to a 12-month measurement period. If eligible, you will be notified.
