Host/Hostess - RiverWoods Exeter : Job Details

Overview:

Exeter is currently seeking a full time, 40 hours/week Host/Hostess. Under the direction of the dining room manager, the Host/Hostess is responsible for professionally greeting and seating residents and their guests, coordinating the activities of the dining room personnel, and assist with scheduling and training of the dining room personnel as needed. This role will also fulfil the duties of a server when needed. A flexible schedule and weekend availability is a must. This is a Tuesday - Saturday position working 11:00am-7:30pm

• Ability to exert up to 40-50 pounds frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
• Must have the ability of a flexible schedule to work around special events, functions, and staffing challenges.

• Previous restaurant, serving, catering or host/hostess experience is required.
• ServSafe Certification preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent of HiSET. Preferred: Associates degree in Food Service, Hospitality, or Business Management.
