- Guest Reception and Seating:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival.
- Manage seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover and accommodate reservations.
- Escort guests to their tables, presenting menus, and introducing them to their server.
- Reservations and Waitlist Management:
- Handle reservations via phone, online booking systems, and in-person.
- Manage the waitlist, keeping guests informed about their wait times.
- Communicate with the kitchen and serving staff to manage table availability.
- Game Day Event Coordination:
- Ensure the venue is set up and ready for game day events, including TV/audio setups and special seating arrangements.
- Assist in organizing and promoting game day specials, events, or promotions.
- Coordinate with bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure timely service during high-traffic events.
- Engage with guests to enhance their experience, answering questions and facilitating requests.
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints with professionalism.
- Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience.
- Communication and Teamwork:
- Communicate effectively with all team members, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.
- Collaborate with the management team to execute special events and promotions.
- Support staff in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining and bar areas.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain an organized host station with necessary supplies.
- Handle guest payments for reservations or special events when necessary.
- Record and report any maintenance issues, guest feedback, or operational challenges to management.
