Job Summary
The Host is the first point of contact for guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. This role requires strong customer service skills, familiarity with Asian cuisine, and proficiency in OpenTable and Toastl POS systems.
Responsibilities
• Greet guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements using OpenTable.
• Communicate effectively with guests to manage expectations and address inquiries about the menu.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth seating flow.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception and waiting area.
Qualifications
• Prior experience in a hosting or customer-facing role.
• Knowledge of Asian cuisine and ability to describe menu items confidently.
• Familiarity with Tall POS and OpenTable systems.
• Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and punctuality.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
Food Runner
Job Summary
The Food Runner supports the kitchen and serving teams by delivering dishes to guests accurately and promptly, enhancing the overall dining experience. This position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a good understanding of Asian cuisine.
Responsibilities
• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately.
• Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Familiarity with menu items, including ingredients, to answer customer questions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in food prep and service areas.
• Assist with clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in food running or similar restaurant roles.
• Knowledge of Asian cuisine and menu familiarity.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate well with customers.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and punctuality.
• Familiarity with Toast POS system (preferred).
