The schedule would be Tuesday-Saturday with 4 opening shifts and one closing shift on Saturday.Duties & Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)* Sets the tone of the guest experience with warmth and hospitality.* Greets and seats guests.* Confirms reservations in the Resy system.* Anticipates and accommodates guest needs.* Supports Front of House and Back of House teams during service as needed.* Manages wait lists and table turns through the Resy system.* Maintains the general cleanliness and orderliness of the entrance area.* Performs side-work as directed.Qualifications:* Previous host experience (1+ years') in a high-volume full-service restaurant.* Knowledge of Resy or similar reservation platform.* Ability to effectively communicate with guests and answer any questions about Cull & Pistol, Lobster Place, and their food and beverage selections.* Warm and welcoming demeanor.* Ability to remain professional and calm under pressure.* Able to manage multiple priorities in a busy restaurant environment.* Exceptional time management and communication skills.* Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.* Evening & Weekend availability is a must.Pay & Benefits:* Hourly Rate: $16/hour (plus $10-$15/hour in tips!)* Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, insurance benefits* Paid breaks* Company paid life insurance.* 401k plan w/company match* Paid Time Off for full time employees* Employee Discounts* Commuter benefits* Referral Program - $600 Bonus if you refer a successful hire.* Employee Assistance Program to help promote well-being and enhance quality of life for you and your family.Working conditionsThis job operates in a professional restaurant environment. This role routinely requires the use of computers and other electronic devices. The host station is small, and traffic is high. The workspace is on 2 levels and the ability to use stairs is required. This is an FLSA non-exempt hourly position on the restaurant floor.Essential Functions* Prolonged periods of standing, walking, kneeling, bending and movement throughout the space.* Expression/exchange of ideas both verbally and through non-verbal means.* Must be able to obtain impressions through the eyes.* Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination.* Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying loads of up to 15 lbs.* Tolerance of heat, cold, and loud/noisy environments.LP Hospitality Group is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
