Job Description :
Main Function:
  • Responsible for overseeing the dining experience to ensure that the resident and guest needs are met.
  • Collaborate nightly with culinary team to ensure that high standards of cleanliness and efficiency are maintained.
  • Supervise staff to be sure the proper serving techniques are used and all work including end of the shift assignments are complete.
  • Performs accurate account of dining statistics related to meal credits and nightly reports.
  • Enforce the Food Service Department and Health System policies and procedures as well as the Department of Health Regulations.
  • Will complete tasks assigned in the absence of the Dining Services Leader (scheduling, tracking of attendance, and interviews)
  • Maintain set up and take down of resident or community functions.
Qualifications:
  • Good team work skills.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Must be familiar with Health Department Regulations.
Education:
  • Completed a tenth grade education or above.
  • Must be able to read, write and understand English language.
  • Must be able to process simple mathematical calculations: add, subtract, multiply, and divide
Experience:
  • Previous experience working in a restaurant setting required.
  • Banquet set-up helpful.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Previous experience working with the senior population preferred.
