Hot Grill Cook - La Plaza Supermarket : Job Details

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare, produce, and cook (hot grill) Deli prepared products according to provided recipes.
• Ability to perform their services both in the taqueria area and in roast chickens and kitchen.
• Use Deli equipment such as as knives, pots, ovens, grills, etc.
• Oversee the quality of the products prepared prior to selling/serving to customers.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Hot Grill Cook, cooking Hispanic hot grill foods required.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) highly preferred
• Safely use food handling and sanitation chemicals and equipment to maintain department cleanliness standards and local, State and Federal agencies regulations and requirements.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the cyclical nature of the grocery industry, team members are required to work varying shifts and schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, which reflect the Company's operating requirements.
