Job DetailsJob LocationWoodsprings Suites - Inverness, FLSalary Range$13.00 HourlyDescriptionSummary: Responsible for enhancing and improving the SRHM experience by providingoutstanding service to our guests. Demonstrates and promotes SRHM core value of the Golden Rule which includes treating others (guests, vendors and team members) in the same manner we would like to be treated. Available to work flexible schedules as this is a floating position.Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Greet all guests, vendors, and visitors professionally, and with a smileProcess guest check-in and check-out in accordance with hotel policy and proceduresMake and confirm guest reservationsAnswer phone professionally and cordiallyAssist guests with special requests including room placement when possibleShare hotel amenities and special features with guestsProcess all payments types e.g. charges, cash, checks, debit or credit cardsCoordinate with Housekeeping Department to track room readiness and communicate guest concerns if necessaryEnsure that all complaints regarding service and/or accommodations are investigated and resolved in a friendly and respectful mannerAssist in completing required Front office reportsKeep General Manager informed of any guest issues or concernsReport suspicious activity to General Manager and law enforcement when deemed necessaryFollow and implement rules and regulations as per [brand] StandardsFlexible to cover varying shifts for floating position.QualificationsQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.Reasoning Ability:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.Education/Experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
