SILVER CLOUD HOTEL SEATTLE – LAKE UNION location is looking for a talented, passionate and team building hospitality professional to fill our GENERAL MANAGER position. An exciting environment located on the south end of scenic Lake Union, the hotel is also located near Seattle Center and Fred Hutch Cancer Research Center. The hotel features 184 guest rooms and suites, with 2,000 sq/ft of meeting space.

POSITION PURPOSE:

The General Manager oversees all aspects of hotel operations, including guest relations, front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, finance, and staff development. This role also focuses on team leadership and fostering a strong workplace culture. Additionally, the General Manager collaborates with the Director of Sales to drive hotel revenue, manage meeting space, and maintain budgetary goals.

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

EXPERIENCE:

o 5+ years of dedicated hotel management experience

o Proven track record of operational excellence

o Financial acumen, including budgeting and P&L accountability

o Excellent organizational and time management skills

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

o Ability to adapt to changing business demands, both guest and team member needs

o Leadership in building, developing and support teams

o Analyze guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance the guest experience

o Results oriented with ability to work under pressure

o Possess a gracious, friendly and fun demeanor

EDUCATION:

o High School Diploma or its equivalent

o Bachelors degree or higher in related field - preferred

COMPENSATION

Salary Range is $115,000 - $125,000 annually and is based on applicable experience and work history.
