POSITION SUMMARY The employee in this position is responsible for providing and maintaining clean guest rooms and spaces for guests and staff on a daily basis. All employees are required to practice customer courtesy skills to ensure our guests are afforded a remarkable experience. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following statements are intended as general examples of the duties of this position and are not all-inclusive for specific positions. Other reasonable duties may be assigned.
  • Change all dirty bed linens
  • Replace used towels
  • Sweep/Mop/vacuum
  • Dusting
  • Replenish amenities offered in rooms/lobby
  • Freshen stayover rooms
  • Ensure that all assigned rooms are clean and ready to be checked into
  • Stock housekeeping cart at beginning/end of shift
  • Inspect rooms visually for any maintenance issues that need to be reported
  • Bring down dirty linen/towels
  • Assist coworkers with their rooms
  • Follow all SOP and Policies that are in place
  • Follow all safety and security measures that are in place
  • Occasional laundry
  • Stock storage areas when needed
  • Comply with all reasonable requests made by management
Qualifications:
  • Experience in the hospitality industry or guest services is preferred, but not required
  • Must be available to work various shifts, holidays and weekends
  • Must have great customer service skills - all of our positions come into contact with guests!
