POSITION SUMMARY The employee in this position is responsible for providing and maintaining clean guest rooms and spaces for guests and staff on a daily basis. All employees are required to practice customer courtesy skills to ensure our guests are afforded a remarkable experience. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following statements are intended as general examples of the duties of this position and are not all-inclusive for specific positions. - Change all dirty bed linens
- Replace used towels
- Sweep/Mop/vacuum
- Dusting
- Replenish amenities offered in rooms/lobby
- Freshen stayover rooms
- Ensure that all assigned rooms are clean and ready to be checked into
- Stock housekeeping cart at beginning/end of shift
- Inspect rooms visually for any maintenance issues that need to be reported
- Bring down dirty linen/towels
- Assist coworkers with their rooms
- Follow all SOP and Policies that are in place
- Follow all safety and security measures that are in place
- Occasional laundry
- Stock storage areas when needed
- Comply with all reasonable requests made by management
Qualifications:
- Experience in the hospitality industry or guest services is preferred, but not required
- Must be available to work various shifts, holidays and weekends
- Must have great customer service skills - all of our positions come into contact with guests!
