Hotel Housekeeper - Kennebunkport Captains Collection : Job Details

Description The Kennebunkport Captains Collection is seeking a motivated, organized housekeeper to join our team. Firmly rooted in the culture and tradition of Kennebunkport history, the KCC is a modern collection of four historic Maine homes formerly owned by sea captains. Your mission is to provide an exceptional experience to every guest who stays with us. As a housekeeper, your primary focus will be the cleanliness and presentation of our guest rooms and common guest areas. If cleaning is a task that sparks joy for you and you love working with a team, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities •Write down what rooms were cleaned, report lost and found items and any damage or repairs needed •Reply to general questions guests have during their stay •Manage the cleanliness of common spaces such as the hallways, public restrooms, and hotel lobby •Ensure guest rooms are clean and tidy according to our hotel's standards before guests arrive •Mop, vacuum, make beds, change sheets, do laundry, stock rooms, and do other cleaning duties as assigned Qualifications •High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent •Over 1 year as a professional housekeeper strongly desired •Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills •Experience with a variety of cleaning products and techniques
