Description:Housekeeper Job DescriptionReports To: Operations Manager FLSA Status: Part Hourly, non-exempt Prepared By: HR Director Prepared Date: 5/21/24 Compensation: $15.00 an hourSummary: The Cleaning Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive homes/guestrooms while providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests.This role will mainly consist of turn-over cleaning on Host properties but may also include cleaning of Train Cars, grounds and other properties as needed to ensure hours are being met.Essential Functions•Drive to Listings to clean and restock them.•Account for cleaning inventory and listing inventory•Perform routine maintenance tasks•Organize custodial closets and spaces•Maintain working condition of cleaning equipment•Cleaning short-term rental properties at an exceptional level.•Ensuring supplies at listings are stocked appropriately.•Visual inspection after each guest for damaged property or stolen items.•Communicating how processes can be done better and more efficiently; anticipating guests needs.- Other duties as assigned by managementEducation/Minimum Requirements
- Relevant experience in hotel or short-term rental industry.
Skills/Aptitudes
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
- Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Royal Gorge Route Railroad Standards
- Strong customer service ethic, for the guest mentality.
Working Conditions/Essential Job Functions•Weekend availability is required
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift more than 50lbs when necessary
