**SUMMARY**

Keeps building and grounds in clean and orderly condition and participates in roomsetups for events by performing the following essential duties.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Sweeps, scrubs, vacuums and mops surfaces including floors throughout the facility including hallways and other public areas.

* Waxes and strips floors; cleans carpets, air vents, windows, glass surfaces, and interior walls.

* Sweeps around chairs and steps in elevated general public seating areas.

* Cleans folding chairs in elevated general public seating areas.

* Collects and removes trash throughout interior and exterior public and seating areas.

* Operates electric, propane or gasoline powered equipment designed to perform certain duties.

* Notifies management concerning need for repairs.

* Performs setups throughout the facility by moving furniture such as stacks of chairs, various sizes of tables and other items individually or on a cart designed to move multiple pieces at one time.

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Supervises seasonal employees during live race meets.

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**

G.E.D. or High school diploma; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
