Shift now available 7a-3pSummary of DutiesPerform daily housekeeping activities to assure that the Community is maintained in a clean and safe manner.Essential Job Functions
Perform day-to-day housekeeping activities in accordance with daily work assignmentsCoordinate daily housekeeping services with management when performing routine cleaning assignments in resident living and/or recreational areasClean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, etc., in resident rooms, recreational areas, etc., daily as instructedClean, wash, sanitize and/or polish bathroom fixtures. Remove water marks from fixturesClean windows/mirrors in resident's rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms and entrance/exit waysClean walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, and deodorizing, etcRemove dirt, dust, grease, film, etc., from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutionsDiscard waste/trash into proper containers and re-line trash receptacle with plastic linerInform supervisor of supply needsClean and store work/supply carts, equipment, etc., at end of the shiftPerform other duties and responsibilities as directed by supervisor, to include any special projectsEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred. One (1) year experience preferred.Physical Requirements for Essential Job FunctionsMust be able to move about consistently throughout the workdayMust be able to reach, bend, and/or stoop intermittently throughout the work dayMust be able to walk/stand 75% of the dayMust be able to push, pull, or move a minimum of 100 pounds utilizing proper body mechanics and assistanceMust be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure that the requirements of this position can be fully met
