An Interim position means a position established to address a one-time or recurring need of less than nine (9) months duration and exempt from the classified service under KRS 18A.115.The Eastern Kentucky Veterans Center is looking for a self- motivated, energetic full time housekeeper whopossesses the skills, knowledge, and desire to be a part of our team.Expectations for this position include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining a clean, safe, orderly, comfortable, and sanitary environment,
• Maintaining records of maintenance and cleaning of assigned areas and supply usage,
• Performing janitorial, and possibly laundry duties.
• Working with other departments to ensure safety & comfort of all residents at all times.
• Organization of housekeeping closets and supply storage areas.
• Floor care throughout facility, including tile, carpets, rugs, wood & vinyl flooring areas.
• Operating floor cleaning equipment such as, but not limited to; buffers, walk behind scrubbers, ride onscrubber, carpet cleaners, and waxing/refinishing equipment.
