Job Title: Housekeeper

Location: Sweet Citrus Acres RV Resort

Job Summary: The Housekeeper at Sweet Citrus Acres RV Resort is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the resort's facilities, including restrooms, communal areas, and outdoor spaces. This role ensures a welcoming and comfortable environment for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facility Cleaning:
    • Clean and sanitize restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities.
    • Maintain the cleanliness of communal areas, such as the clubhouse and fitness room.
    • Regularly clean and maintain outdoor spaces, including picnic areas, poolside, and walkways.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Monitor and replenish supplies in restrooms, laundry rooms, and other common areas.
    • Keep track of cleaning supplies and request additional items when needed.
    • Ensure that all cleaning equipment is maintained and in good working order.
  • Guest Interaction:
    • Provide friendly and courteous service to all guests.
    • Respond to guest requests or concerns promptly and efficiently.
    • Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any housekeeping-related issues.
  • Compliance and Safety:
    • Follow all health and safety guidelines, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE).
    • Comply with resort policies and procedures.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work cooperatively with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the housekeeping department.
    • Assist in other areas of the resort as needed, including special event setups or deep cleaning projects.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous housekeeping experience in a hospitality or outdoor setting is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Work involves both indoor and outdoor tasks in various weather conditions.
  • May be exposed to cleaning chemicals; proper PPE will be provided.
