LOCATION:New York, NYHOURS:Part-time requiring days, nights, weekends & holidaysABOUT THE POSITIONLyric Theatre, an Ambassador Theatre Group venue, is a leading Broadway theatre in the heart of Times Square. We are currentlysearching for experienced and proactive team members to join our team as Housekeeping Staff. Candidates should be honest, motivated, and punctual. They should have previous housekeeping experience and be able to work well with others. COVID-19 vaccination is a condition of employment.PEOPLE, PLACES, and THINGS
  • Cleaning of all areas in the building i.e. auditorium, backstage, dressing rooms, rehearsal studios, bathrooms, offices.
  • Removal of trash
  • Maintaining bathrooms and ensuring supplies are sufficient
  • Deep cleaning and sanitizing areas as requested
  • The position also involves show coverage (daytime and night-time shifts for both weekdays and weekends) and some customer interaction.
EXPERIENCE and SKILLS
  • Experience working in a customer facing environment
  • Proven experience as a Custodian, Cleaner or Housekeeper
  • Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
  • Customer-oriented and friendly
  • Prioritization and time management skills
  • Working quickly without compromising quality
COMPETENCIES
  • Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
