  • Knowledgeable about and follows infection control/universal precautions.
  • Practice general safety procedures while performing housekeeping tasks.
  • Appropriately uses Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Employee completes daily assignment checklist.
  • Ensures that waste generated within the health care facility is collected, transported and disposed of properly.
  • Participates in the department's performance improvement activities.
  • Maintains patient /employee confidentiality in the management of information.
  • Displays courtesy, tact, and patience during interactions with all members of the staff and extended community.
  • Is punctual and maintains a satisfactory attendance record.
  • Employee uses equipment and supplies appropriately.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Observes the Health Care system's compliance policies.
  • Meets regulatory, licensure and annual health assessment requirements.
  • Identifies learning strengths and needs.
  • Utilizes learning resources.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Required minimum of (3) year experience working as a Housekeeper preferred in the Health Care field.
  • Experience with cleaning equipment including extractors, floor buffers and stripping machine.
