Job Description: Performs routine cleaning tasks and launders residents clothes. Provides a clean and safe environment for residents, guests, and staff.

Responsibilities of the role include:

Follows directions and schedule to clean community,

Vacuums, dusts, cleans bathrooms, empties trash of assigned apartments. Defrosts refrigerators when needed. Change beds and towels weekly. Notifies Environmental Services Director if resident needs additional services.

Uses wet mop on designated floor surfaces. Uses hazard warning signs when indicated.

Cleans common areas on established schedule.

Cleans public bathrooms (supplies paper towels, soap, and toilet paper).

Empties trash cans.

Cleans windows, sliding glass doors, walls, carpets, and doors on assigned schedule.

Cleans dining room on assigned schedule. On a regular schedule cleans table tops, table legs, bases, and chairs.

Keeps Environmental Services Director informed of supply needs.

Works as a Chancellor team member to maintain a pleasant, effective work environment for staff and caring home environment for the residents.

About You: The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

Ability to perform repetitive tasks on a continuous basis.

Ability to lift 50lbs. Push and pull heavy housekeeping carts.

Must know enough English to receive instructions on how to perform job effectively.

Ability to work a rotation of holidays, evenings, and weekend shifts.

Must have an acceptable Criminal Record Clearance.
