We anticipate adding paid parental leave in the near future.Location: Woodlands, TX Department: Operations - FacilitiesReports To: Executive DirectorEmployment Type: Part TimePosition Description The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff, contributing to the overall well-being and positive atmosphere of the facility. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the care and services Navita Health provides.Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform routine housekeeping tasks, including cleaning bathrooms, common areas, group rooms, and offices, ensuring all spaces are kept in a clean and orderly state.
  • Interact courteously, positively, and professionally with staff, clients, and guests.
  • Disinfect surfaces with provided supplies.
  • Dusts and polish furniture and fittings, vents, windowsills, and ledges.
  • Clean facility windows.
  • Move furniture, waste bins, small equipment, and other items for proper cleaning and return space to recommended layout.
  • Maintain floors including sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming.
  • Collect and dispose of general trash and waste.
  • Monitor and replenish soap, sanitizer, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and other supplies.
  • Maintain equipment, tools and storage areas, keeping all in good operating condition.
  • Maintain records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to facility leadership.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Best practices for efficient, thorough cleaning and sanitation.
  • Possesses written and verbal skills for effective communication.
  • Competent in organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making ability.
  • Ability to work semi-independently without direct supervision, following through with all assigned tasks.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
Job Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED preferred.
  • Previous housekeeping experience required, 1+ years of experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
  • Ability to work around cleaning products and chemicals.
