Housekeeper - Staybridge Suites : Job Details

Job DescriptionSummary:We are looking for a Housekeeper/Room Attendant who will be responsible for maintaining quality and timely cleanliness of all assigned areas of guest rooms and public/common areas.Essential Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of hotel guest rooms and public/common areas while keeping with standards set by the Housekeeping Manager and General ManagerComply with all safety guidelinesKeep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean and tidyPerform any laundry dutiesReview daily inventory of supplies to ensure completed assignmentsCleaning of hotel rooms to include, but not limited to: dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, emptying wastebaskets, changing bed linens, kitchenettes (if applicable), lobby and common areasEnsure standards compliance with all placements of guest amenities, displays, and information cardsNotify Housekeeping Manager of any repair requests needed for guest rooms and/or common areasProperly log, track, and secure any lost and found itemsAssist any other staff members before departure for the dayPerforms miscellaneous job-related duties as assignedQualifications and RequirementsRegular attendance is essentialMay be required to work varying schedules and holidaysrequired to fully comply with all rules and regulationsNo formal training requiredSome experience in safety material handling and cleaning procedures preferredWork indoors and outOften deal with hazardous materials, including bodily waste and cleaning chemicalsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsMaintain a well-groomed and professional appearanceBenefitsCompetitive PayPaid Time OffEmployee Rate Discounts for Hotel StaysTeam Work EnvironmentOpportunities for GrowthAbout Us: American Hospitality Management, Inc.
