Position Description: Edison47 is seeking a Housekeeper for an apartment community located in Tacoma, WA.Position is full-time, Monday Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PMPosition start date: 2/15 or earlierCOMPANY OVERVIEWEdison47, Inc. is a respected, results-oriented property management services group located in the South Puget Sound area. Well help you get there.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Manage all aspects of cleanliness for the communityPerform full cleaning for apartment turns in a timely manner to property/company specificationsClean ovens, stovetops, behind appliances and bathroomsMaintain cleanliness standards for the office, elevator, front entrance and common areasPerform grounds care including picking up trash, sorting trash/recyclables and moving trash/recyclablesOperate small machinery such as a vacuum, pressure washer, leaf blower, etc.Assist with seasonal jobs such as snow removalOther duties as assignedSKILL REQUIREMENTS:Must be willing to comply with safety practicesSelf-starter who can work with minimal or no supervisionAttention to detail and completion of tasks in a timely mannerMust be able to lift 50 pounds in a safe manner and request assistance when neededJob involves climbing stairs, walking, standing, stooping and crouching for extended period of timeKnowledge and use of typical cleaning productsStrong customer service skillsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious experience with cleaning work strongly preferredMay be required to help with coverage at sister propertiesCOMPENSATION:Competitive wage of $20-$22/hour, depending on experienceBenefits available include health, vision, dental, and 401K.This position has great growth potential for the right individual.
