Housekeeper - Dignity Health : Job Details

Clean and sanitize patient rooms, common areas, and other areas of the facility. Follow established cleaning and disinfection protocols and procedures. Collect and dispose of waste, biohazardous waste and linens. Stock and maintain supplied in patient rooms and common areas. Respond to requests for cleaning services from healthcare staff. You may operate heavy-duty equipment and use special cleaning equipment. Qualifications. Housekeeping experience required utilizing basic housekeeping practices and procedures proper handling/disposal of infectious waste and proper safety skills in handling of housekeeping chemicals. Acute healthcare work experience involving the use of heavy equipment such as buffers extractors wide area vacuums and wet vacuums.
