Job Type Full-timeDescriptionThe Housekeeping Staff ensures a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment throughout the Austen Riggs Center's residential and clinical facilities. This role supports the therapeutic mission by providing a clean and welcoming environment in multiple buildings while respecting the privacy and confidentiality of patients.This is a Monday- Friday 7:00-3:30 position- with occasional weekend and holiday coverage neededBenefits:

Requirements

• Cleans and sanitize multiple buildings including patient rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and clinical spaces and other gathering spaces.
• Collects, washes, dries, and folds linens, towels, and other laundry items.
• Ensures timely distribution of clean linens and supplies.
• Disposes of trash, recycle, and other waste regularly following proper disposal protocols.
• Reports maintenance issues, hazards, or security concerns promptly as part daily routine.
• Follows all internal procedures around infection control protocols.
• Coordinates with the Facilities team for special cleaning projects or emergency situations and supports with basic tasks.
• Participates in meetings and ongoing training.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years' experience in housekeeping, environmental services, or custodial work.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing and walking for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills and comfort dealing with staff and patients at all levels.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and PPE equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Some weekend work and holidays may be required.
• Must be flexible and able to work independently or with others.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record a plus.
