Housekeeping Assistant

Position Summary
The Housekeeping Assistant carries out all cleaning duties as directed by the Environmental Services Director. Their role also includes the following responsibilities:
· Ensure the daily and deep cleaning schedules are adhered to.
· Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene.
· Always adhere to infection control policies and use the correct PPE.
· Ensure all equipment is correctly and safely used and report any defects to the Environmental Services Director.
· Carries out other duties as assigned by the Environmental Services Director and/or Administrator.
· Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.
Requirements
· High school diploma or GED
· Previous long-term care experience preferred
