About the Opportunity: Chelsea Piers is seeking to hire a Housekeeping Associate to join our Maintenance team at the Golf Club. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the facility, assisting with event setups, backing up the picker, and executing special tasks. This role reports to the Assistant General Manager and works closely with the Maintenance team. This is a full-time position during weekends and evenings. As the Housekeeping Associate, you will be expected to:
- Clean the facility, which includes bathrooms, locker rooms, Bar Lounge area, exterior of the facility and all common areas
- Maintain cleanliness of tiled/carpeted floors, which includes operating floor machines
- Perform basic maintenance tasks of the facility, including changing light bulbs, addressing plumbing issues, fixing small equipment, etc.
- Execute picking, including operating the club car
- Assist in event and party setup, which includes setting up tables, chairs, beverage service, golfing equipment, and steaming linens
- Assist in keeping customer and guest belongings safe and secure
- Interact with clients and staff in a professional and respectful manner

About You: You are a hard worker who is respectful, punctual, results-oriented, and a team player. You are also willing to learn new tasks. You will have:
- High School degree or equivalent preferred
- Prior Housekeeping/Janitorial/Maintenance Experience
- Ability to work evenings and varied shifts as needed
- Ability to climb ladders and carry up to 50lbs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
