Ability to work odd or unusual hours, split shifts, or holidays in preparing for an event. - Mix and prepare cleaning products; clean Coliseum interior and exterior; vacuum, sweep, mop, clean and wax floors. Ensures a safe environment for patrons; removes liquids and debris from walkways through the building during events.
- Clean and sanitize restroom facilities and fixtures; replenish supplies in restrooms. Wash windows, mirrors, walls, and countertops.
- Remove and dispose of debris from parking lots, walkways, and Coliseum facilities; empty waste receptables.
- Perform additional staff functions for events.
- All employees will exercise resource stewardship and report known or expected irregularities to the immediate supervisor to ensure compliance.
- Required to follow OSHA and in house safety guidelines.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of related working knowledge of building cleaning practices, methods, supplies and equipment.
- Ability to perform routine and repetitive custodial tasks without immediate supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Abilility to walk/stand the entire shift, bend, and stoop.
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
