Rate of Pay: $27.52 per hourJob DescriptionWhat you will be doing:Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Being a team player in assisting the Room Attendants to ensure guest rooms are prepared efficiently
• Offer professional, friendly and engaging service to all guests and responding timely to any special requests
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Respond timely to guests' special requests for miscellaneous items ie: cribs, cots, extra towels etc.
• Collect dirty linen, garbage and recyclables from Room Attendants' carts and closets
• Follow departmental policies and procedures
• Report necessary maintenance items
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Aspects of Position: Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:

• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 60 lbs
• Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

QualificationsYour experience and skills include:

• Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience an asset
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team with minimum supervision
• Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming
