Bethel Farms is seeking to fillonepart-time position in Housekeeping.As a Housekeeper, you will serve our properties owned by Bethel Farms. Housekeeping duties will be performed in our properties includingRefuge Retreat ( , a Christian Retreat Lodge, ourBethel Farms ( corporate office, and other properties as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Perform all duties of a Housekeeping Attendant.
+ Ensure all guests are provided superior room and public area cleanliness.
+ Ensure the compliance of health and safety standards.
+ Assist with monitoring and upholding procedures for control of supplies and keys.
+ Maintain knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform any position in the department.
+ Maintain accurate lost and found log and upholds related policies and procedures.
+ Handle chemicals and cleaning supplies with care and in accordance with standards.
+ Responsible for dusting, sweeping, mopping, and washing floors, toilets, showers, tubs, windows, appliances, and counters.
+ Vacuum carpets, upholstery, and any other dusty surface.
+ Cleaning all surfaces in the kitchen, bathroom, and the whole facility.
+ Making beds at needed locations.
+ Scrubbing and sanitizing all relevant surfaces.
+ Handling all furniture and appliances carefully.
+ Operates commercial laundry and cleaning equipment.
+ Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
+ Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements
+ At least two years of experience working in housekeeping.
+ High School diploma or GED and some college preferred.
+ Able to be on your feet for the majority of your shift. Position requires a great deal of standing, walking, bending, stretching, pushing, lifting, pulling, and attention to detail.
+ Must be able to lift, push, or pull 25 pounds.
+ Speaks and writes fluently in English.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
+ Ability to handle stressful situations with poise and professionalism.
+ Strong leadership and a professional image
+ Conduct work-related functions in a professional manner.
+ Must be able to reliably commute prior to start date.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time hourly position. We offer a flexible schedule (3 to 5 days / 20 to 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday). Flexible schedule could vary depending on work demands. Day shifts are 4 to 8 hours per day, depending on needed work schedule. This position may occasionally require weekend and evening work.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Noise levels may vary, from office equipment to production line and warehouse levels.
