Starting Pay: $15.50/hour-$16.50/hour

Schedule Mon/Wed/Fri first shift in Mansfield; Tues/Thurs 12p-8p in Mansfield and Shelby

Currently, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Housekeeper who will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and hygiene of the healthcare clinic facilities. The housekeeper will also be responsible for ensuring that the facility meets the health and safety standards set forth by regulatory agencies.

Essential Job Duties:

* Cleaning and Sanitizing: The housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the clinic, including patient rooms, exam rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, and staff offices. This includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, wiping down surfaces, and disinfecting equipment.

* Waste Management: The housekeeper is responsible for handling and disposing of all waste, including medical waste, in accordance with local regulations and clinic policies.

* Inventory Management: The housekeeper is responsible for monitoring and ordering cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other necessary items to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.

* Maintenance: The housekeeper is responsible for reporting any maintenance issues, such as broken equipment or damage to the facility, to the appropriate staff member or supervisor.

* Work collaboratively with other healthcare clinic staff to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

* Safety: The housekeeper must follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment when cleaning potentially hazardous areas.

* Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, gowns, masks, and eye protection when working with potentially infectious materials

* Proper handling, labeling, and disposal of medical waste and sharps containers

* Follow Safe work practices, such as not eating or drinking in areas where potentially infectious materials are present and washing hands thoroughly before and after cleaning tasks.

* Proper procedures for cleaning and disinfecting surfaces contaminated with potentially infectious materials.

* Prompt reporting of any exposure incidents or suspected exposures to bloodborne pathogens to a supervisor or healthcare provider for appropriate follow-up

* Documentation: The housekeeper must maintain accurate documentation of cleaning schedules, inventory, and any incidents or concerns related to the cleanliness of the clinic.

* Ability to travel to different clinic locations on a regular basis.

* Be a positive role model for all health center staff.

* Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

* Valid Driver's License, Required

* High School Diploma or GED preferred.

* Experience in healthcare environmental service or other similar position preferred.
