At MGM Resorts, we seek individuals like YOU to create unique and show-stopping experiences for our guests.THE JOB:It is the primary responsibility of the Housekeeping Scheduler to ensure that sufficient daily labor resources are in place to service the Hotel and Casino by assigning and updating employee schedules.THE STARTING PAY: $21.616/hrTHE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Schedule employees according to their assigned areas in the Access and in the Stratus database
• Track time off and payroll hours and maintain department recodes of EVS and Housekeeping, ensure replacement for absent employees
• Responsible for pertinent information to the computer systems relating the employees schedule such as leave of absences, light duty, flex time off, termination, transfers etc.
• Award and bid out open stations
• Assign employees to a temporary station until the employee(s) permanently assigned to the station has returned
• Activate and deactivate employees as they are hired, terminated and transferred to the Access and Stratus database systems
• Act as liaison for the Housekeeping Department and payroll to ensure accuracy of the employees' payroll hours and paycheck
• Forecast flex time off according to the Hotel's room occupancy and gives recommendations and reports to management
• Answer department telephone calls

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• High school diploma or equivalent (2+ years of computer proficiency)
• Two (2) years of computer experience
• 30+ WPM typing speed
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
• Bilingual
