FTE: 1.000000 Shift: Nights Location: RIVERSIDE MEDICAL CENTER Summary: The Housekeeper II maintains the interior in a safe, neat environment and sanitary condition for our patients, their families, staff, physicians, and management. Responds to requests that are within housekeeper's responsibility or notifies appropriate personnel to perform request. Experience/Education Requirements:

Responsibilities:
  • Assists housekeepers and performs all Housekeeper I's duties.
  • Assists with special set-ups, construction projects, etc.
  • Collects, transports and disposes of regular trash and boxes.
  • Collects, transports and properly prepares infectious waste, sterilizes and documents activities.
  • Moves furniture and miscellaneous items from one location to another, including set-ups.
  • Perform all in between case cleaning in the OR's , Terminally clean all OR's and LDR's (when needed) after each delivery.
  • Performs daily dust and wet mopping, buffing hard surface floor, and vacuuming carpeted floors.
  • Performs scrubbing or stripping and refinishing hard surface floors.
  • Performs shampooing or extracting of carpet and upholstery.
  • Responsible for care and cleaning of equipment and storage area.
  • Responsible for maintaining pagers, coding and de-coding of alarms and keys.
  • Stores surplus furniture neatly in proper location.
  • Washes walls, ceilings, doors, windows, blinds, vents and lights.
