Housing - Winsmith : Job Details

Position SummaryThis position is located on first shift and is responsible for the job classifications and primary duties outlined below within the housing cell. Machine Operators are responsible to set up the machines, operate equipment and run parts at the production standard while maintaining 5S and cleanliness of the work station. Primary Duties

• Responsible for operating the cnc housing machines.
• Responsible for checking manufactured parts.
• Maintain 5S standards for the department.
• Able to operate all hoists and cranes within the department.
• Able to read and understand blueprints and measuring equipment.
• Follow all production and safety procedures.

Experience and Education

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one (1) year CNC or Manual machining experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 25 lbs continuously and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Requires prolonged periods of working on your feet and walking occasionally throughout the day.

Internal Qualifications

• To qualify for the position the employee must be able to operate 1 hobber.
