Job Description :
HPC admin Remote No third party C2C Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in HPC administration, architecture, or a related role.
  • Extensive experience with Linux/Unix systems administration, including Red Hat, CentOS, or Ubuntu.
  • Proficiency with HPC schedulers and workload managers (e.g., Slurm, PBS, or Grid Engine).
  • Strong understanding of parallel computing, cluster management, and networking in HPC environments.
  • Experience with storage technologies (e.g., Lustre, NFS, GPFS) and interconnects (e.g., InfiniBand, Ethernet).
  • Scripting and automation skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Singularity) is a plus.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with cloud-based HPC (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) or hybrid HPC setups.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and performance tools such as Nagios, Ganglia, or Grafana.
  • Knowledge of parallel programming and distributed computing (e.g., MPI, OpenMP) is advantageous.
